About Us

I was born in Bavay, North of France in a big, loud and happy family. We all had something in common: we loved our food. Well, we didn’t really have the choice: my mum was spending each single morning cooking meals. We all sat down at the table every lunch and diner and enjoyed what was offered.

Of course, we all learnt the art of cooking. Right from the beginning, I enjoyed baking cakes. I loved everything about these delicious, scrumptious French cakes, pudding, tarts and crèmes. The idea of a perfect cake was it had to be exquisite, tasty and delicious.

In 2000 I moved to England and was mesmerised by the English cakes: sculptural, stunningly beautiful and most of all with no limit to my imagination. I had found a way to express my passion of baking cakes by linking the 2 worlds together: create artistic cakes with a French taste… and style. I started to design cakes for friends and family, improved my technique and skills and decided to move forward by creating the French Cake Company.

My passion is to create a beautiful masterpiece of the highest quality and standard every time. Elevating your sense means everything to me: a cake that looks stunning, that tastes divine, that everybody talks about and that will stay in your memory forever and ever as your very unique special cake.
